Family Support worker
Hi, my name is Kay Page and I am a Family Support Worker based at Walsden Primary School on Wednesdays.
I have been a Family Support worker for 5 years, previously based at the Children’s Centre where I also ran Stay and Play groups and Baby Massage.
My role at school is to be a link between home and school and to support parents with a wide range of issues such as –
- Managing behaviour at home
- Support with routines and boundaries
- Advice on finance/benefits, housing, mental health
