We helped to organise a sponsored skipping day to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.  We made posters and got all our classmates to take part.  Someone was skipping all day from ten past nine to ten past three and we raised lots of money.  Thank you everyone who took part and to everyone who donated, we raised £2,500!

We met the Mayor of Todmorden today.  He came to the school assembly to meet us all and talk about his role and answer questions.

After a busy year each class has now voted for their new School Councillors.

We have all really enjoyed helping the school and our classmates and hope that the new Councillors have as much fun as we did. Our favourite parts of being a School Councillor:  Callum, Olivia, Shay and Harry liked baking the buns for charity.  Anya and Freddy's favourite part was, 'How we all sat down and thought of good ideas.'  Isabelle commented, 'I liked having my own folder to remind me what to tell my classmates.'  Maggie said, 'I loved being part of it!'

Our classmates asked for some new DVDs for wet playtimes.  Everyone helped to choose them and they have now arrived!
